Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington (Greek American) is a Greek American writer, syndicated-columnist and businesswoman. She has written fifteen books, and she is co-founder the magazine The Huffington Post. Arianna Huffington, an independently-owned liberal news site, is a television personality, author, and charitable donor. Her birthplace was Greece she relocated to England at the age of 16 and was able to graduate from Cambridge University with an MA in Economics. The first graduate who was not from the UK to be elected president of The Cambridge Union at the age 21. As a conservative syndicated blogger following her graduation, she went on to become an influential voice for the Huffington Post. The celebrity she enjoyed helped her to convince several stars to voice their views about current affairs, political and culture. Arianna was famous in 2003, when she ran as an independent candidate in the California recall elections in order to replace Governor Davis. She was also involved in a Detroit-based project that promoted efficient vehicles that use less fuel. Forbes identified her the most powerful woman in media in 2009. She ranked at 12th place on their list. The Guardian added her to the top 100 list of media in 2009. AOL Inc. acquired The Huffington Post, and she became president of this media group. This included many AOL properties of the time like Engadget AOL style list and Patch Media. Elli was the son of Konstantinos, a Journalism and management expert. Her life was shaped by her closeness to her mother as well as her relationship with her father, despite her being very close to her father. Even in her formative age she demonstrated her leadership skills and is a household name. In the year she turned 16, she moved from America to United Kingdom and enrolled Girton College Cambridge. In college, she was a member of the Cambridge Union, a college debate group. As the third woman president and the first foreigner she held the position of head of Cambridge Union. In 1972, her master's in Economics was awarded. Following her graduation, she was employed as a critic for a newspaper column and a television host. She was a guest on Bernard Levin on an edition Face the music, and she started writing her own novels with his help.
